Characteristics *
Mutual conductance2.8mA/V
Amplification factor25

*: At Va=2.5kV, Ia=44mA

The maximum permitted base pin temperature is 180°C and max anode seal temperature is 220°C. The valve must be mounted vertically, either base up or down. When operating near maximum ratings the valve needs to be cooled with an air flow of up to 5 cubic feet per minute directed to the centre of the valve base, and an anode terminal connector having a large surface area must be used to keep the anode seal cool.
