CV999 transmitting triode

This valve measures 121x42mm overall and has an octal base with 6 pins fitted

This is a transmitting triode capable of 125W at 1.4GHz. 6.3V/2A heater. As 3C22 it was used in the AN/APT-5 radar jamming transmitter. Interestingly this was used as the local oscillator in equipment used to discover the 21cm interstellar hydrogen line in 1951. Thanks to Jan Heering for this information.
