CV972 double micropup. This is actually two micropups mounted together in what is defined in the CV Register as a 'circuit unit'.

Size This device measures 265mm from connector to connector
of the two micropups, 60x45mm across the body, and
1200mm from the side to the end of the grid cooling tube.

A device of this type was used in the naval gunnery radar systems Types 282 thru 285.

There are two examples of this in the collection. One has two CV92 micropups and is marked CV972 on a label.

CV972 The other has two CV1256 micropups and has CV972 stamped on the body along with the AP number W5534 and serial BC242.
